ASUS is expanding its lineup with the new ASUS Gaming Series, now available in the Philippines. Designed as entry-level gaming laptops, the new V16 and X16 models offer solid specs for casual and beginner gamers, all at more accessible prices.
The ASUS Gaming Series V16 and X16 models sit below the ROG and TUF Gaming lines and serve as a new entry point for gaming. It’s built like a Vivobook — clean design, practical I/O, and good everyday performance — but with GPU power for light to mid-tier gaming. It’s ideal for students, first-time PC gamers, or those looking for a work-and-play machine without the gaming aesthetic overload.
ASUS Gaming V16 – Specs, Price, and Features
The ASUS Gaming V16 comes with up to an Intel Core 5 210H processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 graphics with DLSS 4 Multi-Frame Generation. It also supports up to 16GB DDR5 RAM and 512GB SSD storage.
It has a 16-inch Full HD IPS display with a 16:10 aspect ratio and a 144Hz refresh rate, offering smooth visuals for gaming or media. Other notable features include Dirac Audio with ASUS Audio Booster, AI noise cancellation, and a large touchpad with a Turbo Blue backlit ErgoSense keyboard featuring highlighted WASD and arrow keys.
Despite the internals, it stays portable at 1.8cm thin and 1.95kg. It’s housed in a Matte Black chassis, powered by a 63Wh battery, and supported by ASUS IceCool thermal tech and military-grade durability (MIL-STD-810H).

ASUS Gaming X16 – Specs, Price, and Features
The ASUS Gaming X16 is slightly more affordable and comes with an Intel Core i5-13420H processor and RTX 3050 GPU, paired with 8GB DDR4 RAM and 512GB SSD.
It shares the same 16-inch FHD IPS 144Hz display, audio features, and slim form factor as the V16. However, it adds an SD card reader to its I/O ports and weighs slightly less at 1.8kg. It comes in Indie Black.

- PhP 49,995 – Core i5 + RTX 3050 + 8GB RAM
The ASUS Gaming Series will be available starting May 6, 2025 at ASUS and ROG Concept Stores and authorized retailers. The RTX 5060 variant will follow in June.
